Message To Our Patients Regarding The Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Digestive Health Center of Thousand Oaks (DHC) is following recommendations from CDC, WHO, CDPH, and Ventura County Emergency Services on how to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

DHC understands that based on the evidence, prevention of the spread of the virus is important. Frequent hand hygiene, social distancing of at least 6 feet apart, respiratory etiquette, routine disinfection of common surfaces, and remaining home when ill are paramount to slowing the spread of the virus.

Infection Control guidelines, Hand Hygiene protocol, Effective Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Environmental Controls, Isolation precautions, and testing protocols are detailed in DHC’s Infection Control policies and procedures and are further referenced on the CDC website.
